About Me
I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, offering a calm, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on for you — at your own pace.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education and later within NHS mental health services (CAMHS). Through this, I saw first-hand how many people get stuck in their struggle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences (especially from childhood). I also saw the impact a skilled and empathic listener can have in helping people to become unstuck and to find their way towards greater health, wellbeing and more fulfilling lives.
That’s what led me to this work.
How I work
I believe that no two people are the same — and therapy shouldn’t be either.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different types of therapy depending on what you need. This may include:
- Person-centred therapy to create a space where you feel heard and understood
- EMDR therapy to help process trauma and past experiences
- IFS-informed therapy for working with emotional parts of self and internal conflicts
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) for practical support and coping strategies
We can work together to gently explore patterns, understand what’s beneath the surface, and find ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.
What it’s like to work with me
Clients often come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start.
In our sessions, you’ll find a space that is:

- Thoughtful and paced around you
- Focused on helping you feel understood, not analysed
You don’t need to have everything figured out — we can start wherever you are.
